Event Details
ASEAN 2024 will explore how NZ business can leverage the extensive goodwill we enjoy within the South East Asian markets and accelerate our engagement with an economic community of almost 700 million increasingly prosperous consumers. Trade in both goods and services with ASEAN is increasing and it constantly competes with the EU for NZ's biggest trading region. With the ASEAN - New Zealand 50th Anniversary next year there is increasing emphasis on business with this exciting region.
The ASEAN NZ Business Council, with strategic partner AUT University, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade and supporting partner Asia New Zealand Foundation are pleased to bring you our annual conference, the ASEAN Forum.
This year we'll hear from businesses who have thrived from trading with Southeast Asia, as well as hearing from ASEAN-based businesses as well. The Forum provides an opportunity for New Zealand businesses to hear from keynote speakers on future directions and issues, while also learning about and discussing opportunities in this dynamic region.
New Zealand businesses must look ahead to find new opportunities to further grow and develop as 2024 will undoubtedly bring a new wave of economic challenges. ASEAN as a significant and geographically close trading partner presents huge potential that has not yet been fully unlocked by New Zealand. ASEAN nations are eager for New Zealand businesses to contact them and the Forum aims to highlight these opportunities.
