Greg Andrews is the manager of the Trade Policy Engagement and Implementation Division in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade (MFAT). His Division is responsible for managing MFAT’s programme of stakeholder and treaty partner engagement on Trade, and for the ongoing implementation and periodic upgrade of New Zealand's in-force trade agreements, to ensure that they remain cutting-edge in their delivery of market access to New Zealand exporters and in their contribution to key regional trade architecture and bilateral relationships. Greg is also New Zealand’s CPTPP Senior Official.

Greg was previously (2016 -2020) New Zealand’s Ambassador to Belgium, Luxembourg, Romania, Bulgaria and Moldova, as well as Deputy Head of Mission in New Zealand’s Mission to the European Union.
Greg is a career diplomat. Since joining the New Zealand Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade in 1999 he has had overseas postings in Moscow and London, in addition to Brussels.
In Wellington he has worked on a wide range of issues, but predominantly in trade policy and trade negotiations. His previous appointments in Wellington have included manager of the Rules, Sustainability and Intellectual Property Unit and manager of the Free Trade Agreement Implementation Unit, both in Trade Negotiations Division. Greg studied at the University of Auckland in New Zealand, and has a Bachelor of Commerce and a Master of Arts in Philosophy.
Greg is married to Melissah and has three children (Jack, Lily and Mila).

Philip Gregan is the Chief Executive Officer of New Zealand Winegrowers Inc, the national industry organisation that represents, researches and promotes the interests of New Zealand grape growers and wine makers. Philip has been with New Zealand Winegrowers and its predecessor, the Wine Institute of New Zealand, since starting as a Research officer in 1983. He has held the role of Chief Executive Officer since 1990. Philip has a Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts (Hons) degrees, majoring in Geography, from the University of Auckland, and has also completed a strategic leadership course at Oxford University in the UK.

Ashlin joined MIA in July 2022 as Senior Policy Advisor after an extensive career at the Ministry for Primary Industries (MPI). She first joined MPI in 2013 in a team that focused on policies for New Zealand’s domestic forestry and horticulture sectors. She has also been in roles that involve climate change and resource policy, and trade negotiations. Most recently, Ashlin was the First Secretary (Primary Industries) at the New Zealand Embassy in Beijing where she represented New Zealand’s agriculture interests and its cooperation relationship with China. Ashlin has also had roles in a number of other government departments working on policies covering women’s issues, and community and settlement issues. She has undergraduate degrees from the University of Auckland, and post-graduate degrees from the University of Victoria Wellington.

David is a BNZ International Trade & Working Capital Specialist, he specialises in helping importers and exporters manage trade and supply chain risk, access funding and improve customer and supplier relationships. David has been working within the finance industry for 15 years in both New Zealand and Australia and has experience in a range of segments, working with clients from multinational corporates to SME's and start-ups.

Rachel is Zespri’s New Zealand Government and Regulatory Affairs Manager and manages the team responsible for Zespri’s New Zealand-based external, government and regulatory engagement as well as policy, advocacy and trade strategy. Her team also leads Zespri’s New Zealand community investment programme.

Over the past 11 years at Zespri, Rachel has led communications, media and engagement work, as well as a period in new cultivar commercialisation, and continues to drive the industry’s response to the EPA’s reassessment of the widely-used agrichemical Hi-Cane. Rachel has an extensive background in strategic communications and public engagement, with experience across local and national government and the finance sector. She holds several advisory roles including Women in Kiwifruit and Tauranga Moana Biosecurity Capital.

Robb Stevens is Fonterra’s Local Government and Stakeholder Affairs Manager for the South Island, based in Christchurch.

Robb has worked in the Fonterra across a number of areas; leading the customs compliance function from a group perspective, and Trade Strategy, where he was the GM Trade Strategy, and also in Supply Chain and R&D.

Prior to his current role, Robb was Fonterra’s Trade Strategy Manager, based in Kaula Lumpur, which focused on developing and protecting market access for dairy products in the region. In addition, he has a deep understanding of how trade and supply chains work globally, from customs requirements to the non-tariff barriers faced by agricultural products.

Robb graduated from Otago University with Masters of Science, and Masters of International Studies.
