Welcome to a new event series - Why and How ASEAN.

This event series will spotlight a prominent business leader(s) within the New Zealand-ASEAN community with a discussion around Why and How ASEAN. For this second event in the series, we welcome guest speakers Kenneth Leong, Director of Tiaki Capital and Dr Bryan Ngoi, Founder of BN Land Ltd. The discussion will be facilitated by Nga Blanchard, NZiFOCUS and ANZBC Executive Committee Member, and will be around the topic of investment, particularly how to raise capital from ASEAN investors, and also what ASEAN investors have to look out for when considering opportunities in New Zealand. Kenneth, Bryan and Nga will also explore some of the common challenges that businesses may encounter when conducting business with ASEAN countries, such as cultural differences, legal and regulatory disparities, and logistical hurdles.

The discussion will be followed by an online networking session between attendees - 'ASEAN Speed Dating' - an opportunity for individuals and organisations to connect with each other across and between the ASEAN region and New Zealand.

We look forward to seeing you online!
